The NMDOT held a groundbreaking ceremony for the I-25/Rio Bravo Interchange Project today, and construction is scheduled to begin on August 8th. The $50M project is the largest in AUI’s 36-year history.
New Mexico’s first Offset Single Point Interchange, consists of the complete reconstruction of the existing I-25 / Rio Bravo Boulevard Highway Interchange, including widening and reconstruction of an approximately 1.6-mile long segment of I-25 and reconstruction of Rio Bravo Boulevard (NM State Highway 500) from just east of Prince Street to University Boulevard.
