WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR PROJECT MANAGERS WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR TOTAL PROJECT CONTROL AND MANAGEMENT INCLUDING:
- Establishing and maintaining project schedule, budget and required scope according to plans and specifications
- Monitoring costs and cash flow; Ensuring all expenditures are authorized and budgeted; Responsibility for RFI’s and change orders
- Reviewing and monitoring additional information acquired from AUI Inc. crews, project engineers, project owners, and the project environment; Investigating and resolving complaints
- Organizing and directing communication and project information distribution including meetings and written reports
- Monitoring project compliance with OSHA, contract, local, state and federal laws/requirements, including maintaining required records
- Reviewing work procedures and operations issues to identify ways of improving quality, performance, and/or safety; Detecting or assessing potential or actual risks and formulating plans for eliminating or mitigating them
- Providing guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting exemplary performance standards and monitoring performance to assure that standards are met and maintained
POSITION REQUIRES:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field of study
- 5+ years experience in DOT-related heavy civil construction; bridge experience preferred
- Experience in management of self-performed work, cost control, contract negotiation, CPM scheduling, and contract administration
- Ability to lead and integrate a diverse project team and maintain the partnering relationship with the owner
- Pre-employment drug screen
