WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR PROJECT MANAGERS WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR TOTAL PROJECT CONTROL AND MANAGEMENT INCLUDING:

  • Establishing and maintaining project schedule, budget and required scope according to plans and specifications
  • Monitoring costs and cash flow; Ensuring all expenditures are authorized and budgeted; Responsibility for RFI’s and change orders
  • Reviewing and monitoring additional information acquired from AUI Inc. crews, project engineers, project owners, and the project environment; Investigating and resolving complaints
  • Organizing and directing communication and project information distribution including meetings and written reports
  • Monitoring project compliance with OSHA, contract, local, state and federal laws/requirements, including maintaining required records
  • Reviewing work procedures and operations issues to identify ways of improving quality, performance, and/or safety; Detecting or assessing potential or actual risks and formulating plans for eliminating or mitigating them
  • Providing guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting exemplary performance standards and monitoring performance to assure that standards are met and maintained

POSITION REQUIRES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field of study
  • 5+ years experience in DOT-related heavy civil construction; bridge experience preferred
  • Experience in management of self-performed work, cost control, contract negotiation, CPM scheduling, and contract administration
  • Ability to lead and integrate a diverse project team and maintain the partnering relationship with the owner
  • Pre-employment drug screen
