With just over 4,500 linear feet of storm drains running beneath Main Avenue in Durango, Colorado needing to be rehabilitated, it was clear a rehabilitation method not requiring tearing up the street was going to be the best option for the city. Using the SPR EX PVC lining system, we lined 4,400 LF of 12″ pipes and 188 LF of 18″ pipes. This installation greatly reduced the amount of time required for the project, the amount of road removal and replacement, and lessened the impact on the travelling public for the residents and visitors of Durango.
